Dr. Jennifer F. Beatty, D.O., FACS, is a seasoned oncology surgeon and healthcare leader with over two decades of experience in clinical care, surgery, and program development. She is the founder of The Breast Place and has played a key role in building a comprehensive breast center in collaboration with the Bon Secours Mercy Health system, reflecting her commitment to innovative, patient-centered care.
Dr. Beatty began her career as a general surgeon in the United States Navy, where she served as Director of Surgical Services and led medical operations in Iraq. These experiences shaped her leadership style—grounded in accountability, adaptability, and mission-driven care.
In 2020, Dr. Beatty underwent a profound personal and professional transformation. Recognizing gaps in traditional models of care, she shifted her focus toward understanding the root causes of disease and the importance of prevention. She made intentional changes in her own life—embracing a nutrition-focused lifestyle, developing a small farm to grow her own food, and pursuing advanced education in nutrition, metabolic health, peptide therapy, and regenerative medicine. This journey deepened her perspective as both a physician and a patient advocate.
She later became certified in stem cell therapy through the American Academy of Integrated Stem Cell Therapy, further expanding her ability to offer forward-thinking, restorative care options.
Dr. Beatty is passionate about leveraging telemedicine to expand access and continuity of care, particularly for vulnerable populations. With extensive business experience as a physician entrepreneur and national licensure in progress, she is positioned to lead healthcare delivery across broader populations.
Her work is defined by a commitment to compassionate, whole-person care, with a particular focus on oncology, hospice, and innovative care models that meet patients where they are.
